SS LANGUAGE ECOSYSTEM

Scientific software, from source to result.

A general-purpose programming language with scientific computing tools, local browser execution, trusted reference search, packages, learning, and community.

Scientific capability without a separate language

SS combines familiar programming foundations with numerical and engineering packages. Every capability shown here is documented and tested.

Quantities and dimensions

Dimensioned literals, custom units, affine temperatures, conversions, and compile-time dimensional checks are part of Language V1.

Numerical foundations

Tested packages cover linear algebra, numerical methods, statistics, optimization, automatic differentiation, and convergence diagnostics.

Engineering domains

Packages include geometry, meshing, FEM, heat transfer, fluids, CFD, electromagnetics, mechanics, and multiphysics tools.

Inspectable execution

Parallel, accelerated, and GPU-aware paths report the actual selected mode, device, fallback, and relevant diagnostics.

One connected ecosystem

SS Language, SS Lab, SS-AI, SSPkg, and SS Discuss work together with a consistent account and experience.

SS Lab

A free, local-first workspace that runs the production SS compiler and interpreter in a browser WebAssembly worker, with synchronized mathematics and inspectable results.

Explore SS Lab
SS-AI

Search the official SS language and package reference, with examples that have been checked by the compiler.

Explore SS-AI
SSPkg

Find, review, and install official .sspkg packages with clear dependencies, documented APIs, and verified file integrity.

Explore SSPkg
SS Discuss

The community question-and-answer destination for technical discussion, documentation links, and moderated collaboration.

Evidence boundary

Windows x64 has been tested on Windows hardware. Linux x64 and macOS ARM64 builds exist, but have not yet been tested on physical machines running those operating systems. SS Lab runs ordinary programs locally in your browser rather than sending your code to an application server.
